What we publish

  • OpinionYour view on politics, policy or events, clearly argued.
  • AnalysisA reasoned look at events or history, with sources.
  • Personal accountSomething you saw or lived through, in your own words.
  • Historical materialDocuments, photographs or research, with where they came from.

Before you submit

  • Give sources for factual claims: links, documents or publications.
  • Keep opinion and fact clearly separate.
  • Don’t name or show private individuals without their consent.
  • Never include addresses, phone numbers or other personal details.
  • Only send photos and documents you have the right to share.
  • No hate speech, threats or calls for violence.
  • It must be your own work and not published elsewhere without saying so.

We may edit for length, clarity and accuracy, and we will not publish anything that could put someone at risk.
